New Interactive Dynasty Sign-Up: Golf
As a multi-year nominated dynasty writer, I can say- this won't be my next nominated dynasty (unless it's a really crappy year for dynasties-or it goes in directions unforseen at the present time).
I love doing dynasties and have been in withdrawl since I stopped my TCY-FOF Interactive due to computer/FOF.com load time issues. I still have them, though to a lesser extent, so this will not have my usual multi level color/graphic presentation...at least for now it won't. Also, this will not be as cool as the beloved and past nominated Golf dynasty by Breeze. I will be using Stroke Saver Golf-Automated. That means that 95% (I made that number up, but probably not far off) of the action will be pure luck. There will be less categories to differentiate between us. ---As of now, the plan is to have a tour that lasts 16 tournaments (negotiable). At the end of the year, the lowest ranked golfers will be sent packing to the...well, to wherever. This depends on the number who actually express interest enough to sign-up. If there is interest, the next group will replace the demotees for the next year and so on for however long it has a "fan base" to keep going. ---There are spots for only (only being a relative term, of course, if only 8 sign-up to participate) 32 golfers. The plan is to take the first ?? (depends on demand) and the remaining slots will be golfing greats from all time (Woods, Palmer, Hogan, etc...) (maybe a vote to see the greats to use??). ---The greats will start out with more skill than we peons, so it may take a while for anyone (aside from a fantastically lucky bastard) to have a great year on tour...as I think it should. ---FOFC players will, however, be able to get bonus points to add to their abilities as they get top finishes in tourneys or year-end money lists. ---There is a plan for a Ryder Cup as well, if there is enough interest in that being done (I have the SSG program that does it as well). ____________________________________________________________ To sign up, simply post or PM me with:

Sorry, I mixed up some numbers. The original post asked for 15 points in six categories, and I read it somehow as 16 points in five categories (which IS the actual number of categories). Should be 15 in 5. Change my driving length to 3. |
By the way, thanks for mentioning this game, as I decided to search for it, and am happy as hell to have found the site it was on. I DL this along with a bunch of other stuff. Thanks again.

We are getting off to a later start than planned due to the fact that my boys and girls swimming teams both won district titles last friday. Therefore I am still busy as hell with practices and logistics for going to regionals next week.
Hope to have rosters and schedule up this weekend, as well as some rounds of the 1st tourney, at least. FORE!!!!!! |
If i'm not too late, i'll jump in...if so then no biggie

Ok, this WILL happen but swimming has eaten my time. We will get going soon.
To use my one excuse for the year (in my classes we have a motto, "excuses are for losers," so I am only allowed one per year. :) ), it was worth the time as I will be taking TWO swimmers to state in two weeks. That may not seem like anything to some people/schools, but to equate, in Dallas they are the only two swimmers in our classification for the whole city that made it....mine. |
Congrats.
Now hurry the hell up. :D |
Nice. Have a good time at the competition. :)

Ok, the meet was this morning. My girl got second in the state (she is just a sophomore). Woot!!
Swimming is over. I also do softball but am just the assistant, so my time will now be more my own. That means this should actually get started this week. Yea! |
Again, if not too late:

And I....
Fuzzy Bozack Scotland Driving Length - 2 Driving Accuracy - 3 Iron Play - 3 Short Game - 2 Putting - 5 |
Believe it or not, we are about to start this thing.
The plan is for 11 all-time greats and 21 fofc wanna-be greats to make up the field for the first season. The greats I have chosen are:
Time to get going, so speak now, or.... |
Oh c'mon, we need Lefty in there!
My boy Mickelson must be a contendah! Screw Lee Trevino. Phil's the man. |
I request two hot scandinavian nannies.

To give it a bit more international flavor (so Gary Player isn't the only foreigner), I'd suggest Harry Vardon, Nick Faldo, Old Tom Morris, Seve, etc ... not necessarily all of them, but at least one or two. I really like Lee Trevino, and he won more majors than Byron Nelson, but his name just doesn't seem to fit with the rest. |
