'noob' draft question
 

I'm playing my first ever season (SP) of FOF. Slowly, because I gameplan every game and call some of the plays. (If I don't, my offensive co-ordinator is liable to kick a field goal, trailing by 14 with 3 minutes left).

My question about the draft is very simple: At what point during the season can you first look at the players who will be available? I expect you can't until the season has ended, am I right?

As the FA period begins, that is when you can do it. Right after the final coaching stage, you will get an option to import a draft class or a random one will be generated.

Beginning of free agency.

I think these are all of the stages (from the top of my head, so feel free to correct, anyone):

1. Stadium Renovation
2. Staff Hiring
3. Set Franchise Player/Import Draft/Set Ticket Prices
4. Free Agency--Part I (draft class appears here)
5. Draft
6. Free Agency--Part II
7. Training Camp
8. Preseason
9. Regular Season
10. Playoffs

11. Northstars Victory Parade.

Anyone agree it would be nice if the draft class were available (even in some limited form) to peruse earlier, a la real life where speculation about draft choices begins before the end of the pro season.

Import the draft class from TCY. Then you can watch your future rookies play in college.
