'Broken' play descriptions?

On certain playcalls/diagrams (when calling plays yourself) there are two receiver routes listed, but they are both the same player.

eg. FB cross7/FB out2

Does this denote that the receiver in question might run either route depending on the defense, or is it just a cock-up in the game?
