So Cabrera signed a new contract. I just find it hilarious to read some of the reactions to his signing at the bottom of the article. Today, he is getting ripped for not demanding to be paid what would be a fair market value or more for a player of his skill.. In a year or so he will get ripped for demanding market value or more for a player of his skill.

Doesn't he not have a choice? He's a year away from arbitration...I thought until that point, salary followed a set structure.
