It's Beer Thirty

Break out the booze, all of you stuck at a desk.

WSUCougar 03-10-2006 03:25 PM

There's a bottle of wine in my near future.

But not yet, Spaniard. Not yet.

Raiders Army 03-10-2006 03:27 PM

I'll be drinking tonight...but it'll be a little later than usual.

Lorena 03-10-2006 03:27 PM

I need some serious booz tonight man... one of those LOOOOOOOONG ass weeks at work.

Maybe I can have Antmeister surprise me with something. He doesn't drink, so it'll be fun to see what he brings.

KWhit 03-10-2006 03:28 PM

I'll be drinking very soon.

Lorena 03-10-2006 03:29 PM

dola,

Damn, 1 more freaking hour at work and I'm behind a freaking fort of paperwork. Damn these contracts!!

WSUCougar 03-10-2006 03:31 PM

This has been a wickedly long week at work, for whatever reason, and it's made worse by the fact that the weather's FREAKING GORGEOUS in St. Louis right now.

Lorena 03-10-2006 03:37 PM

The weather is damn near perfect here in Phoenix. I don't mind the 30mph winds one bit

Toddzilla 03-10-2006 03:39 PM

The Reverend Horton Heat approves!

JonInMiddleGA 03-10-2006 03:58 PM

Yeah life's too short, let's get to livin' it

hoopsguy 03-10-2006 06:13 PM

Very jealous, stuck at work until what looks like 7PM at this point ...

terpkristin 03-10-2006 06:29 PM

Just got home...just opened a beer.
Coincidence? I think not.

Vince 03-10-2006 06:31 PM

I had a pint of Newcastle with my Philly Cheesesteak sandwich for lunch, but I don't think I'll be drinking more until about midnight. Sigh.

cartman 03-10-2006 06:33 PM

We've had perfect weather this week in Austin as well. 70 to 80 degree days, just a few clouds.

SXSW starts tomorrow, so the Austin music scene is going to be a madhouse over the next 10 days.

As for something for Beer O'Clock, I stopped by the liquor store and picked up a bottle of my new favorite distilled spirit, Bulleit Bourbon. I used to be a Maker's Mark guy, but this stuff blows it away. Time to go sip some on the back porch while I feed the deer.

Easy Mac 03-10-2006 06:34 PM

I'd drink, but my allergies came out of no where, so my head is getting kicked the fuck in right now. Never had allergies this bad before...

Coffee Warlord 03-10-2006 06:43 PM

Spent beer thirty till 5 shooting the shit with the boss and drinking beer...

Now I order a pizza, clean the apartment, and, yes, drink more beer.

Better than Maker's Mark eh? I might have to look that stuff up.

Desnudo 03-10-2006 07:09 PM

The only thing better than Maker's Mark is a bigger bottle of Maker's Mark.

That's what I used to think as well. If you happen to find a bottle of Bulleit, give it a try.

Actually, no, I didn't. They came back with a couple of desserts and gifts for me though. I guess they felt bad or something... who knows.

YEAH!! That vodka is AWESOME!!! I always thought vodka was made from potatoes or grain. Ciroc changed my mind in a hurry. It is best served right out of the freezer. Need to get it really cold to bring out the goodness.

Dola,

Don't worry about missing a lunch at the Claim Jumper. Once you, Antmeister, and the rest of your clan make it out this way, I'll have to treat y'all to a meal at the Salt Lick. Y'all will forget all about Claim Jumper.
