Maybe I can have Antmeister surprise me with something. He doesn't drink, so it'll be fun to see what he brings. |

This has been a wickedly long week at work, for whatever reason, and it's made worse by the fact that the weather's FREAKING GORGEOUS in St. Louis right now.

I had a pint of Newcastle with my Philly Cheesesteak sandwich for lunch, but I don't think I'll be drinking more until about midnight. Sigh.

We've had perfect weather this week in Austin as well. 70 to 80 degree days, just a few clouds.
SXSW starts tomorrow, so the Austin music scene is going to be a madhouse over the next 10 days. As for something for Beer O'Clock, I stopped by the liquor store and picked up a bottle of my new favorite distilled spirit, Bulleit Bourbon. I used to be a Maker's Mark guy, but this stuff blows it away. Time to go sip some on the back porch while I feed the deer. |
I'd drink, but my allergies came out of no where, so my head is getting kicked the fuck in right now. Never had allergies this bad before...

Spent beer thirty till 5 shooting the shit with the boss and drinking beer...
Now I order a pizza, clean the apartment, and, yes, drink more beer. |

I just bought a bottle of Ciroc vodka...it's really smooth...made from grapes I guess. I got my first payday from a new job today, so I'm really gonna hit the town tonight! :I'm excited! :)

YEAH!! That vodka is AWESOME!!! I always thought vodka was made from potatoes or grain. Ciroc changed my mind in a hurry. It is best served right out of the freezer. Need to get it really cold to bring out the goodness. |
