Coordinator hiring bug?
 

I took over the Texans in 2037 and in year 2041 I was still losing quite a bit of money every year. My offensive coordinator's contract was up and I offered him the maximum my owner would let me ($8,610,000). I got to the end of the Staff Hiring period and he still wouldn't sign a contract. I tried to offer him one, but he rejected it; my offer went down to ~$6 million. I got the pop up that asked me if I wanted one hired for me, and the computer hired my offensive coordinator for $8,610,000. Essentially he signed the contract I initially offered him even though at that stage, my owner wouldn't give him a contract that fat. Is this a bug or has anyone encountered this before?

I would have to assume that the ghost of Al Davis is running the 2041 Texans.
