I'm hungry

What the heck should I have for lunch today?

Should I splurge a bit and pig out at the Indian buffet?

Should I save money but get gassy by eating Taco Hell?

Should I have a delicious, but expensive, Quiznos sub?

Should I visit the nearest available Wendy's for a Spicy Chicken or Double w/ cheese?

Should I be super cheap and try to scrap something together from what I have in the apartment?

stevew 03-22-2006 11:31 AM

Popeye's Chicken.

stevew 03-22-2006 11:31 AM

Dola

Or the N.E.P.B. at Olive Garden. :)

oliegirl 03-22-2006 11:32 AM

Go for Quiznos...that is what we had for dinner last night and it was delicious!

ice4277 03-22-2006 11:33 AM

Eat at home, save the money for beer later.

JeeberD 03-22-2006 11:33 AM

Bah, forgot to make it a public poll. And I can't edit it to make it so... :(

rkmsuf 03-22-2006 11:33 AM

Yeah, I considered putting that in there, but I really don't like fish and it would skew the results. :-\

BuffaloHuskey 03-22-2006 11:38 AM

Go for two double decker supremes and nachos from taco bell. I love that place.

JeeberD 03-22-2006 12:03 PM

Quiznos is in the lead at the halfway point. Just another half hour until get my grub on...

Raiders Army 03-22-2006 12:06 PM

Italian, with everything it normally comes with except lettuce.

Either the new prime rib or the honey bacon club :)

JeeberD 03-22-2006 12:45 PM

Italian rocks, but with extra dressing and NO ONIONS. The HBC is one of my favorites as well. And there's a light sub they have that I remember being good. Bourbon Chicken somethingorother.

I might try one of the newer ones, though.

No Onions???? That is just wrong! How can you eat a sub with no onions? No tomatoes - know that makes sense...

JeeberD 03-22-2006 12:48 PM

Raw onions are the foulest substance on earth.

Tomatoes I have no problem with. Same with GD's lettuce... :)

Yeah, lettuce is a taste-deadner. It is just empty filler that also tends to fall out and make a mess. But the tomatoes after they are roosted are mmm...mmm good. The onions are fine after the oven too, but not if you just can't eat onions.

I want to try one of their soup bowls one of these days.

Passacaglia 03-22-2006 12:59 PM

Ick, quizno's? Don't they have Potbelly down there yet?

duckman 03-22-2006 01:35 PM

At the "Y."

DanGarion 03-22-2006 01:48 PM

Togo's pwns Quiznos...

JeeberD 03-22-2006 01:51 PM

Just got back how with a Chicken Carbonara on wheat. I've never had one before, I sure hope it's good... :)

This is what i always get...are you my long losted brother from another mother?

Greyroofoo 03-22-2006 04:00 PM

I refuse to eat at quiznos purely because of their commercials

ice4277 03-22-2006 07:52 PM

This thread inspired me to get Quizno's for dinner. Good times.

LoneStarGirl 03-22-2006 08:57 PM

Yummmm, I miss Quiznos. All we have here is Subway, and its awful. We have been once when they were out of bread, and again when they were out of meat.

JeeberD 04-04-2006 12:46 PM

And today I'm gonna hit the Indian buffet. It's been too damn long since I gave them some business...

Is your colon reading this thread? Might wanna give it a chance to brace itself...

Doug5984 04-04-2006 02:45 PM

I've been on a cheap streak for a few days now- scavenging around the house, eating whatever is lying around. Fast food is expensive and it adds up quick when you eat it once a day...

QuikSand 04-04-2006 07:13 PM

Eat a nice omelet.

I suggest you never rhyme again. :)

JeeberD 04-04-2006 11:47 PM

That's what my junior high english teacher said as well... :(
