Is there a FOF2006 coming out?

Does anyone know if there going to make a new version?

Fonzie 04-26-2006 07:52 PM

Wow. You waited over 5 years to make your first post? That's impressive.

Oh, and your guess is as good as ours on Jim's next product.

flere-imsaho 04-26-2006 07:52 PM

We have no idea.

rolospumoni 04-26-2006 07:53 PM

Thanks anyway.

Groundhog 04-26-2006 07:55 PM

My gut tells me maybe.

st.cronin 04-26-2006 07:57 PM

was that a timestamp bug?

Anyway Jim is working on TCY2.

I've re-stickied the thread with the latest on the next Solecismic release. Once there is new info, I'll update the title again.

Says st. cronin and his scrying device. What he doesn't know is that Jim saved vs. psionics and intentionally gave him misleading information just to fuck with him.

That's how Jim rolls.

Sorry, I don't speak jive. Wha?

Young Drachma 04-26-2006 08:24 PM

Five years for a first post. That's pretty impressive.

FBPro 04-26-2006 08:35 PM

Vinatieri for Prez 04-26-2006 11:17 PM

Yes, FOF 2006 and TCY 2 are currently in production. No doubt. Release is scheduled for September 2006.

Vinatieri for Prez 04-26-2006 11:18 PM

The above post is in writing so it must be true. You'll see. Jim will not deny it. He cannot tell a lie.

Franklinnoble 04-27-2006 12:58 AM

Is it possible that this ID was created as a puzzle for us? SkyDog working with Jim?

Somebody ping someone smarter than me to figure this out... it's too odd that this guy comes out of nowhere after five years... and then SD stickies the thread in response?

There's a significance in the name... the date... and the location...

Franklinnoble 04-27-2006 01:31 AM

Anagrams for "rolospumoni" include:

mops our loin
oil rump soon
oils moron up
soil room pun
louis romp on
sour lip moon
moon our lips

Yeah... uhh... if this is a clue, I don't wanna know where it's going. Nevermind.

A game is coming out later this year from Solecismic. We don't know what game though. Yes, I'm serious and I hope this is slightly more helpful than the above posts.

Franklinnoble 04-27-2006 01:50 AM

Hey... I *was* being serious. To a point, anyways...

AlexB 04-27-2006 04:13 AM

If FN's theory has any weight, the immediate thought that sprung to mind with the name was a similarity to 'Rolo Tomassi' - the name Exley gave to the character in LA Confidential who killed his dad, but was never caught.

So maybe this is a an indentity created to fit a purpose similar to Rolo Tomassi? Is there any significance in the 'spumoni' part?
