Editing draft

Forgive me for asking because I know there is info on this but I can't make it work.....I am playing FOF2004 (5.1d)

Is there a utility to edit a draft class (either already in the game or one outside, prior to importing into the game) for my version of the game?

I know I saw some page with a utility to create a draft by inputting the year and number of "good" players. It created a CSV file I believe. The game wants a FAF file I think. This other utility I found FOF editot ver 1.4 also wants a FAF file to edit it. Hense my problem because if I just change the extention, the game gives me a message that its the wrong version.

Can someone explain to me how all this works? kinda new at this game and these utilities for sure.

Thanks

the game comes with a draft file generator that you put in a CSV file and it turns it into a FAF file. also you cannot edit a draft class already in the game, this is prior to importing it. the draft file editor utility edits FAF files.

Actually you can edit a draft class that is created by TCY or one of the draft classes created by an individual. What you need to do is get the draft file editor that is posted in one of the sticky's (I think), then open up the file in the draft file editor, and you can manipulate the numbers there. Or, copy the file into excel, change some of the numbers and paste back into the draft file editor. I have been playing with this the past couple of weeks and I am finding the results I am looking for.
