My brain is Now permanently BROKEN.

SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT.. ON UKELELES???

There's only two ways to get this out of my head. One is to get the person who IM'd me this link, and lower him headfirst into a pit filled with starving rabid weasels..

The 2nd is to share it with all of you!

SackAttack 05-30-2006 06:43 PM

But Foz, what do you do if somebody like Antmeister decides "I can top that"?

SirFozzie 05-30-2006 06:43 PM

I WEEL KEEL HIM NOW!

Franklinnoble 05-30-2006 07:12 PM

That was BRILLIANT!

Bonegavel 05-30-2006 07:59 PM

After all these years, it took a British Ukulele Orchestra rendition in order for me to understand the words to that song.

NoMyths 05-30-2006 10:22 PM

Fifteen years old, that song. Goddamn but we got old.

Ryche 05-30-2006 11:58 PM

They actually were not doing too bad with the song...until he started singing. The instrumental part was pretty cool though.

atatange1 05-31-2006 12:03 AM

That was so...I don't know what it was. But I liked it.

I wasn't expecting any singing. But in the end he was so bad it was good.

Antmeister 05-31-2006 08:11 AM

Ok SirFozzie, this one had me crying out of laughter. Sorry that your brain is broken. :D

Somehow, I *KNEW* Antmeister would enjoy that. :D

SackAttack 05-31-2006 11:03 AM

But can he TOP that?

Franklinnoble 05-31-2006 11:13 AM

I dunno... can he play the ukelele?

I don't think I can top that. The lead singer was hilarious and I am pretty sure that was intentional because that group has a website of other cover songs. Playing instruments definitely give them an advantage because they are doing a parody of the music as well.

Fidatelo 05-31-2006 12:04 PM

I think they should have ended it with the lead guy getting up and smashing his ukele while the other guys just started ragging out on theirs, maybe doing some awesome feedback stuff if those little things are plugged in to anything.

Marc Vaughan 05-31-2006 01:41 PM

Loved it :D

(and currently feeling very proud to be English ;) ... incidentally its the first time in a while I've seen 'Great British' used anywhere also - last time I saw that was on English products being sold in America when I worked there)

AlexB 05-31-2006 01:59 PM

I didn't catch that particular show - it's an excellent live music showcase on terrestial TV. That was cool! Thanks SF - genuinely cool :)
