my very good friend is the head chef at a restaurant just visited by Rachael Ray for her Tasty Treats show.

rachel has never steered me wrong when it comes to places to eat while travelling (i've been to quite a few of the places she's visited on $40/day while travelling), so cool. :)

not just seafood there. I've eaten there and I don't touch fish.

I guess she'd actually visited there last year without anyone recognizing, and liked it, so picked it for the season. Rob didn't know if she would be coming in person, or if they crew would just be filming there like the other restaurants (Muddy River, one of the other ones, is one of my favorites in town). I talked to him a couple days before, and he was a nervous wreck about maybe meeting her and maybe being on camera - and this is a guy who is VERY laid back. Talked to him briefly tonight, and it all went very very well, including her giving him a little friendly kiss.

by coincidence, I'll be visiting him on Tuesday. Looking forward to hearing about it.

I saw her in the Indy 500 parade, best she has ever looked IMO. Well, her breastesess looked the best I have ever seen them. Looked bigger then normal.

Sounds like a good thing in my book, :)
