TCY Time Management Question
 

I'm confused as usual. If in the options screen I have "assistants make minor decisions", does that mean that the practice time/study hall/etc and the extra coaching time blocks are all handled by the AI? I don't really want to mess with them, but I don't want them ignored if they aren't going to be set at least as intelligently as they are for the other teams.

Yeah, that stuff will be automatically set.

Since we're on TCY already...

How much time should I allocate to practice? What effect does a high/low allocation of practice have vs. a high/low allocation of weight/film time?

Hmmm, I've recently had some TCY questions as well...

Is the "percentage of overall carries by position" tied to the "Use of Option Running Plays?" In other words, if I have the option set to 99, the QB set to 25, the FB set to 25, and the RB set to 50, will the QB choose to pitch about 50% of the time?

I just started a new career in TCY (which took some getting used to after playing FOF 2004), but I'm finding it fun. I won the National Championship with Army in 2007 (12-0), but went 6-5 after my star QB and RB got hurt for the entire season the next year. That sucked. :(

I'm not going to answer any further questions until someone tells me why their is such a huge discrepency between overall ratings and individual bars.

Unless you want to really frusterated and have several key players having to sit out a year because of academics you should not do this. I know this is a pain but the computer does such a poor job of this. After the first year you generally only have to do minor adjustments anyway and then set the freshman.

Ignore the overall ratings. Completely worthless IMO.
