I believe in Karma

A few years ago my best friend met a girl while he was in college. She wasn't in college. I think she was a stripper, but she denies it. Anyway, after a few months of dating she got pregnant. He dropped out of school and moved to eastern Washington to be with her and raise their child.

He got a job at Les Schwab and started working 60 hours a week because she wanted a house. He worked all through her pregnancy just to see her blow the money on expensive furniture and over priced baby clothes.

Right before their son was born they finally purchased a house using money from his job and money from his trust. He even bought her a car because he wanted her to be safe while hauling around the kid. He thought that he had given her all she wanted.

Three months after the baby was born she ran into some stranger somewhere he doesn't even know. A couple weeks later she was working in real estate with some random guy who offered her a dream job making 100k+ a year. A month later she broke up with my friend and was living with this stranger.

The guy she left my friend for was a middle aged heavy set bald guy that made great money keeping books for five casinos in Washington. Oh, I guess I should mention that he was married, but did the honorable thing and divorced his wife for this 21 year old with a great body.

Fast forward one year.

My friend feels like shit about his situation. He hasn't seen his kid since January because he hates his ex so much and now she has full custody. He lives in a city he hates and has no real friends or family close by. He's sick to his stomach because she's been living the good life since they broke up and he's stuck paying off a house that he bought for her. To top everything else off she had another kid with the new guy.

Now this is where the story gets fun. My friend got a phone call today from someone at the courthouse asking about his old bank accounts with his ex. He basically told the guy that he has nothing to hide and he would be happy to give up any information requested. Apparently his ex and the new guy have a little scam going.

I'm not sure on the exact details but here's basically what I was told. At one casino the guy stole over $80k. He stole from all five casinos he worked at, but the grand total wasn't revealed. They've apparently been using the money to start up businesses in the Yakima area. I guess they were trying to clean the money, but I'm not sure. When the casino figured out what was going on they started putting pressure on this guy. He transferred all the businesses to the gold digging whore because he thought it would get them off the hook. Now they are both being sued for misappropriating funds and "facing serious jail time."

It looks like he's going to get his kid back now and get on with his life. I'm happy for him.

You can't live with 'em, you can't string 'em up and gut 'em.

My response to him telling me this story "Now you don't have to kill her."

I don't believe in karma. I just believe bad things eventually happen to really stupid people. Glad to see that's holding up for your friend.

Messing with Casino's money is always a great idea.

well at least hes getting his kid back *hopefully* dont be suprised if after she gets out of jail she gives a sob story to get the kid back and force him to pay support.

his mistake was trusting a woman like that to begin with. the fact that you thought she was a stripper tells me there were signs that she wasnt mrs right. Nukie makes you do stupid things

She's quite possibly the worst human being alive and I wouldn't put it past her. I never liked her and neither did any of his friends.

Here's the type of girl she is in a nut shell.
She doesn't like girls because "they are all bitches."
She turns CNN on when guests are over to make herself look smart.
She once told me that her grandma had a really bad type of flu called influenza.
She once showed my girlfriend her stretch marks from being pregnant. 15 minutes later she told her that she never got stretch marks from being pregnant.

Thats a HUGE red flag. it takes a mamoth b*tch to think all women are b*tches, when in reality they are just reacting to her

These sound like Tribal casinos. He probably figured they'd be too drunk on moonshine to figure out he was cooking the books.

Edit: to sate the unwanted interest of any trigger happy mod. I'm expressing HIS racism...not mine. I'm mocking him, and not the Indians.

Stealing money from a casino... wow. Doesn't anyone watch gangster movies anymore?

"Leave the gun. Take the cannoli"

stevew 06-07-2006 05:13 AM

DNA test his child. I would hope he already did so. But hopefully he can get custody, and things will work out for the best.

Wow, what a story. Hope it turns out okay in the end for him.

Is this the same friend who gained 200 lbs in one year?

If it is, cut him some slack on the weight gain. He has way more to deal with.

If not, you really need to put Springer on speed dial. :)

Please, let's use the appropriate term here. The corrected sentence would read "He probably figured they'd be too drunk on firewater to figure out he was cooking the books."

to sate the unwanted interest of any trigger happy mod. I'm mocking the use of the word moonshine used by someone else expressing a third person's racism.

Haha, 90 lbs and no it's not the same guy.

Nice. In my head I used firewater. I guess it is just the Redneck in me saying moonshine.

I bet she turns state evidence against the dude, gets to keep her kid, and your friend is still miserable. Which would suck for him. And she'll probably try to come groveling back, and your friend will get the added bonus of someone elses kid. Not that he would take her back(hopefully anyways).

Sometimes you can recognize your own offspring easily, other times it's best to get confirmed evidence. Especially with ex-strippers.

If it were not for these people though, Maury Povich would be out of a job!
