Guess when and where this picture was taken? Last night in Dallas, during game 1 of the NBA finals.

Somebody feeling like he wasn't getting enough attention?

Dude also showed up two hours late to his "youth football camp" ... total douche (reported on Mike & Mike).

I had heard this as well, except is was more like 6 hours late. Once he showed up, he just started tossing the football around to the kids. He said "has anyone ever seen a better quaterback"? And one of the kids, which is now my new personal hero, told him "Yeah, Donovan McNabb".

As far as T.O, I can't believe he was that idiotic. I was surprised when I saw him in that jersey last night on TV. Then again, I shouldn't have been surprised or in disbelief. This is TO we are talking about.

And no, he doesn't have to support the local teams, but showing up to a FINALS game wearing the OPPOSING jersey? Thats assinine.

You don't necessarily HAVE to support the local teams in other sports, but you should not be out supporting OPPOSING teams, especially in a championship series.

There is no crossover loyality between sports. He can route for anyone he wants to. What makes him an ass is the football camp situation, not the jersey at the finals.

I was pretty shocked to see him in a Heat jersey. He was supporting his "bro" Shaq. "Blood is thicker than water, but I am wearing a Mavericks hat", which was backwards btw. What an ass. But then again, it is T.O. and he probably did it to get people to talk... and succeeded.

Football is a religion in Texas, and the fans have a long memory. You just don't welcome someone in with open arms that danced on the midfield star at Texas Stadium in an opposing uniform. Subsequent TDs might be celebrated, but I'm willing to be the first one is met with muted applause.

When people WANT to hate somebody, they will find ways to hate them, that's all there is to it.

I'm with those in the "who gives a shit?" department. It's not like he was purposely rooting against a Dallas team. If he used to go to games wearing a Heat jersey, why stop because they happen to be playing a team from the town he now plays for in a different sport? I give him more credit for actually supporting his team.

But for all those who want to attack Owens everyday, did you really need this as more motivation?

The only Dallas team that TO needs to be a fan of is the Cowboys. Who cares if roots for the Heat? He certainly owes no loyalty to the Mavericks.

I agree. He's a Dallas Cowboy and only a Dallas Cowboy. If he shows up wearing a niners jersey, I'll be laughing like crazy and then you can call him an ass for that, but it just sounds like the Dallas fans need to get over themselves. TO's not in Dallas to make friends...he's going to be an ass, why is everyone shocked that he doesnt do what everyone thinks he should be doing?

Owens has the right to wear that jersey at that game, but there's no reason that Dallas fans should just ignore it because he's "supporting his boy." I don't think anyone expects him to be a Mavericks fan, and the lone fact that he was wearing a Heat jersey isn't the point.

The point is that this is a slap in the collective face of Dallas sports fans. I'm sure there are hundreds of thousands of people in that area who love the Cowboys and Mavericks, and to see one of the Cowboys showing up in their building with the other team's gear on is insulting.

Saints fans were pissed off when Mike Ditka verbally trashed the city of New Orleans while he was coaching there, because he was supposed to be part of the city, and then he went and took a giant shit on something that people there loved. Owens is doing the same thing in Dallas. I know he has a bad history in Dallas with the whole "star" routine and everything, but he has a chance to at least not make things worse. No, he doesn't need the fans to like him. All he has to do is put on the uniform and do his job this fall. Still, with the way he bitches and moans, he'll probably be whining within a year or two about how the fans don't respect him. After this recent display, he just gave up his license to say jack shit about Dallas fans, because he clearly doesn't care about them at all.

T.O was a Heat fan before he was a Cowboy, he couldn't win either way cause then if he wore a Dallas jersey people would say he was kissing-up and selling out since he's not even a fan.

I have no issue with him supporting a team he already supported before joining the Cowboys.

And? your point? If he is a Heat fan why would he wear a polo shirt instead of a jersey? He isn't a Maverick, he is a Cowboy. He isn't a Dallas fan, he is a football player - if he delivers on the field it doesn't matter what the fans think of him because the team will still keep him.

And as far as being late for the Football Camp, if he had REALLY wanted to be a jerk-off, he could have A. not showed up at all or B. Not have a Terrell Owen's youth football camp - cause he's certainly not doing it for the money. He might've been pissing off, or he might have been late for other reasons, who knows.

Lots of people seem to act like the guy isn't just a normal person who plays football.... The guy delivers on the field, and as long as he isn't a locker room disruption - that is all he is paid to do. He wouldn't be getting attention over all this if everyone wasn't riding his jock strap over everything he does.
