Anyone else use a FOFC Live RSS feed?

Interesting, wish it allowed me to break it down by forums (all the latest topics from all forums are on the feed), but it's rather cool anyway.

Dare I ask how you have that setup? Didn't know there was a way to RSS FOFC..

tk: I'm using Firefox.. there's a RSS Icon in the URL Bar. I click on it and add it to my bookmarks

Schmidty 06-13-2006 08:37 PM

What the hell are people talking about?

SirFozzie 06-13-2006 08:39 PM

Schmidty: A Live RSS Feed is a drop down mini menu that you can put in your book marks that when you click, gives yo u a link to all the newest threads on FOFC.

terpkristin 06-13-2006 08:43 PM

Odd, I don't have an RSS icon in my toolbar. Are you using Sage or some other Firefox RSS reader?

SirFozzie 06-13-2006 08:52 PM

Oh I am using Sage. Never even knew I had it installed *laughs*

That sounds freaking sweet. How do I do that? :)

SackAttack 06-13-2006 08:58 PM

Schmidty - you could bookmark the following link:

http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/....php?do=getnew

It's not RSS, but it should work as well as what Fozzie proposes. :p

SirFozzie 06-13-2006 08:59 PM

1) http://sage.mozdev.org/ download the Sage Extension for Firefox
2) Restart Firefox
3) Come to FOFC
4) Click the radio button in the URL
5) add it to your bookmarks.

I feel like an Incan in the presence of Conquistadors firing their muskets at a deer, while I run after my prey with a bow and arrow and a piece of jaguar skin half-way up my ass. :D

Oh, Firefox. I had that for awhile, and hated it. I know, I'm a moron, but the tabs and such just felt wierd to me. :(

Guess I'll just have to use Sack's method.

RSS feeds are the next big thing on the Internet. All of the clients that contact the company I work for are asking about getting them incorporated into their sites.

Tabs aren't a requirement.

Just a convenience.

And you can use my method with either browser.

Cancel that - figured it out. I had no idea what that little orange icon thingy did. Now I do. :)

And this RSS feeder kicks butt. Thanks Foz.
