Its a big stick of glue that you apply directly to your forehead that allows you to attach the sign that says your a farking moron for buying the stuff to begin with

chinaski 06-23-2006 08:02 PM

i hate those commercials, I want to kick my tv!

Peregrine 06-24-2006 04:01 AM

I laugh every time they show that commercial, the woman trying to keep a straight face while she rubs what looks like one of those old roll-on deodorants on her head.

Pumpy Tudors 06-24-2006 11:35 AM

That commercial is a piece of crap. I thought someone's TV station was broken when I heard it the first time, but no.

KevinNU7 07-06-2006 03:53 PM

I'm glad to see they keep these shitty commericals out of my market because I have no clue WTF anyone is talking about

Ramzavail 07-06-2006 04:05 PM

Oh lord. It's so bad, it's hilarious.

It's sticks in your mind, so I guess it's good advertising.

aran 07-06-2006 05:39 PM

That's the worst commercial I've ever seen in my life.

stevew 07-06-2006 05:44 PM

No. At least in that commercial you have some idea what the hell the product does!

Toddzilla 07-06-2006 07:54 PM

At Eastern Motors, your job is your credit.

Repeat 74 times....

I prefer the infomercial for hxxp://www.thegreatestvitaminintheworld.com/

nothing like watching two big breasted women talking about nonsensical stuff for 20 minutes. It may have been 3 am, but it was hilarious

stevew 07-27-2006 05:43 PM

They did a story about this commercial on the NBC news tonight. How it is so annoying, and so effective.

ThunderingHERD 07-27-2006 05:49 PM

There was an article on Slate a few days ago:

It is actually a very good commercial, because people remember it and talk about it.

However, I vow never to use any of their products, even if they work very well, because of how annoying those commercials are.

cthomer5000 07-27-2006 06:34 PM

It's awesome. It's like we're one step closer to Max Headroom.

MJ4H 07-27-2006 06:56 PM

Im sorry I do not even know what this is about. Apparently there is a commercial everyone has seen but me.

Have you seen my initial post? If so, you know exactly what I'm talking about. There is nothing else to know.

Daimyo 07-27-2006 07:52 PM

I watched the youtube link three times I still have no idea what the product does or why I should buy it.

Though, as a result, you find yourself strangely attracted to Lisa Loeb... admit it!

It's brilliant really. How many ads create the problem they seem to be trying to solve? A lot of ads create a need to solve a problem, but don't generate the problem themselves.

The "Head On" mantra seems designed to give the viewer a headache, thereby moving them to purchase the product. Of course whoever thought it would work needs more than a gluestick upside the head.
