Harrington on Hold 'Em Vol 3 is out
Saw it at the book store, but didn't pick it up.. glanced through it. It's all problems and pointing out how it should have been played. Good stuff

Ditto. Amazon 1-Click is your friend. :D They also had a package deal to pick up the new Sklansky book as well, so I bit on the offer. |
Already got it (Amazon suggested it to me before it was published. I like how they keep suggesting books that I'll like....except on that day I pay my credit card....)
|
Thanks to Primelord mentioning it to me, I picked it up with my FPPs on Pokerstars. :)

Sweet. Thanks for the heads up. Best poker books I've ever read.
|
Just finished Vol. 2 last week and was wondering why he was mentioned a Vol. 3 I'd never heard of. Great, I don't have the attention span to buy a book of nothing but problems, but I'm going to have to play against people who do.

Mine is still on it's way, but I would imagine it doesn't only have value if you read it straight through. It may be very valuable for just looking up common situations you struggle with and seeing how you should play them. |

Translated: Put it in your bathroom. |
It doesn't really read like just a book of problems (I've read through the first few problems since they are on topics I've read through already). He gives a lot of analysis into what is the correct play and why, and why something is the incorrect play. The answers are REALLY detailed.
