I really enjoyed last year's WSOP pool, so I thought I'd get one going this year, too!

Same rules apply

1) Pick 10 poker players.
2) One of them must be female.
3) One of them must be a non-bracelet winner. (Must be separate from #2)
4) Pick one of your 10 as your ME Event Winner prediction. If you are correct, you win the tourney regardless of score.
5) Scoring system is simple. You get 1 pt. for every $1,000 your players earn throughout all WSOP events.

Please have these in by Thursday at noon (which is when the first non-employee final table will start.)

LOL at the Evelyn Ng predictions.

If ever there was a manufactured superstar, she fits the bill. She got a freeroll into the six-player inaugural WPT Ladies Night, even though she had zero career cashes at the time. After factoring in the buy-in fees, she was actually in the red for her tournament career before recently cashing in a WPT event. So, after several hundred tournaments, she's slighty ahead right now.

Y'know, if you get really bored or something, maybe you ought to handicap the various FOFC predictions once this thing gets close to rolling. Provide us with a VegasVic line if you will, based on the various poster's selections.

That'd be sweet.

It wouldn't be very accurate, as I'm mainly a cash game player. I do know that Ng is outmatched in anything over a 40/80 B&M limit holdem game. She's been run over numerous times at the Bellagio, and this is coming from several different reliable players over many sessions.

If QuikSand plays in the main event, he's a favorite over Evelyn Ng. Could she get lucky? Absolutely. Look at Robert Varkoni. But Quik is still favored over Ng.

I'm pretty sure Erik Seidel cashed. A couple of us have him.

Edited to fix some mistakes. PLease continue to let me know if I miss one of your guys. With so many people in the pool this year, it's bound to happen again.

Clonie Gowen is actually well ahead of Evelyn Ng in career winnings, although neither of them deserves 1/1000000th of the publicity they get.

At least Clonie had actually cashed in an event before she was selected to play in the WPT Ladies Night Freeroll. Evelyn Ng's only accomplishment at that point was that she was dating Daniel Negreanu, who used his connections to get her a seat in the six player freeroll. ;)

Phil Ivey is currently 3rd in the $1500 limit holdem event with 69 players left, so expect a big cash from him for all of those who have him. Phil Gordon is 16th in that same event.

John Juanda is 5th in the $1500 pot limit holdem event with 9 players left.

Those are the only ones left I think people would have taken in the events currently running. The $2500 NLHE shorthanded event begins today.

I almost went with Jennifer Harman, but I figured almost everyone would take her so I went for Tilly to get someone different. That might've been a mistake. I think the only guy I have that noone else has is Freddy Deeb.
