DD thinks he knows what EVERYONE thinks of me, apparently he's wrong. Not everyone thinks I'm a troll. Some do, which is good in a way. Some don't, which is better, because I'm really never trying to troll, I just play one on TV.

First off, if I thought people would HONESTLY answer this poll, I'd probably not post it at all.

I know it's a silly thing to post a poll about yourself, so why don't you put your money where your mouth is? If the results of the poll show a majority of people (greater than 50%) voting that you are a troll, you voluntarilty leave and never post here again and let SkyDog ban your nickname and IP.

I do not think render is a troll. I think he gets a little carried away sometimes, but I can't criticize that since I do, too (not here, but elsewhere--believe it or not, the ratio of jerk/moron to normal person is much lower here than your average internet hang out and I don't handle high ratios well).

My advice is to not worry what a bunch of people on a message board think of you. No big deal. The only representation of you that people here have is some words you type.

Oh, I forgot to add that I have a lot of experience with actual trolls, and render really doesn't come close to that in my opinion.

Render, I think maybe its not so much what you say that bothers people, but just the way you say it.. When I read it, you sound like "that guy". You know who I am talking about, man.. The dude thats just so smug sounding. The dude that is too self important and too hard headed to really ever come off as much less than abrasive.

As a result, those who equate a troll to being someone who rubs the general population wrong probably label you a troll, and as an effect of that, you are treated like a troll. Not everybody hates you, but to some, your personality just seems to touch a nerve. Maybe if you payed more attention to how people perceive you and tried to be more considerate and less demanding of their attention and patience, you'd find a much more accepting atmosphere here.

Just my view from over here, where my opinion is only that. An opinion.

I've been called dense (by some on this board), but even I get what RendeR is trying to say here.

My opinion: RendeR is, loud-mouthed and left-leaning sometimes. I don't think I've ever agreed with anything he's said on the board, but he's not a troll. Far from it.

You need to stop typing and, just maybe, read a few more threads before making utterly clueless comments like this one =)
