2006 MILF Thread

For her age Christy Brinkley still makes this list. Britney and Angelina may make this list as well.

Recent call ups to the MILF would be Mariska Hargitay and rookie Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley.

This brings up an argument that a friend and I had. He says a MILF can be anyone who is a mother. I say it is relative to your own age. In other words, someone who is old enough to be your own mother.

I am 44 years old, and I just don't think of someone in their 20's being a MILF.

Philliesfan980 07-29-2006 10:37 PM

Jimbo, you make an excellent point. Part of the mystique of the MILF catagory is the vast age difference. I'd say that its almost impossible for anyone over... say... 28 to use the term MILF? Man Law?

And I think it may turn out to be a case of the phrase being usable in either context (hench the two additions I made to the list).

Actually, I think it may have started out being relative to your own age but morphed into the broader "any mom" thing because of the whole celebrity mother craze.

I think the whole MILF term is from American Pie (I) correct? I know I hadn't heard it used before then.

My friends and I were using the term in the early '80s. So it's at least that old.

Fair enough, but we really should get this squared away, quickly.

28 is the maximum age a male can be for using the term.

As long as you're talking about the age of a man's "inner child," I agree with you.

I remember seeing snippets, but don't remember anything to match it with. Plus I didn't even notice seeing the use of "MILF" in writing until like two weeks ago. Never mind that for some odd reasons english abbreviations have a hard time making it into the dutch language.
