Windows Vista beta 2
 

So MS is giving away the second beta version of Vista for free. The catch? You have to fill out some stupid quiz:

I have some extra free space on my new dual core AMD64 (which kicks some serious butt BTW) so I am probably going to give this a shot. Currently, it is a XP/linux machine so adding in vista should be no problem. Anyone else planning on giving this a try? Looks like they are going to snail mail the CD but after I install it I'll post an update.

I'm thinking on trying it too, but need to read more about how advanced adn bugs free is the beta already.

I've been using it on my machine and havn't had any real issues to speak of. Every once in a while something will hang, but Vista recovers well, and can keep moving on. I havn't had any compatability issues with programs, except for Alcohol 120. Windows Vista has an issue with the virtual drive driver, but a fix is in the works supposidly. Other then that, I like it.

I'm considering trying this. Still doing a bit more research.

Windows is fairly stable. The beta to avoid is Office.
