Which Solecismic Games Do You Own?
 

Just curious about how much traffic we get from non-FOFers. Thread will be opened once poll is complete.

I've owned 2k4, the broken one from Vick's rookie year, and the one from the year before that I believe. All i know is that it was 2 versions from EA.

I currently have on my computer FOF2K4 and TCY, but I've owned FOF4 and FOF2 as well...

I think FOF2 was the only one I've bought thus far. Truthfully, I've never found the games to be my cup of tea, and probably will not be purchasing whatever the new release will be.

I've bought every game Jim's made. I played the hell out of the original FOF, FOF2, and the latest version FOF2K4, but didn't get into the other version. That first EA one.

I bought and downloaded TCY. I gave it a try once or twice but never got past the first few weeks of the season. I just didn't have the energy necessary to invest and I think I got the game right around the same time I first discovered Champ Man (Football Manager). That game completely consumed me (and all of my text sports sim energies) for many years.

TCY only, as I enjoy college football sims a lot more than pro. Although I would consider getting the next iteration of the pro series just for the multiplayer aspect.

I "own" the current versions and a couple of the previous FOF games, but I don't currently have them on my computer.

Everything that was current since I joined the forum.

I bought every version of FOF and i have TCY, all great games imho

FOF 2, FOF 2001, FOF: The Fourth Edition, FOF 2004 and TCY

My first FOF was the first EA one. I've gotten every one since then. I bought TCY when it came out. Sold it. Then bought it again when 2K4 came out.

I own them all except FOF 2002, which doesn't count.

I started with FOF2 and from then on I was hooked!

Own every single one. Still have my original FOF CD around here.

I have bought every game but the very first FOF.

Never bought TCY, as it had been out for a while when I came on board and I thought it might be updated. Ah well.

Some quick math:

Both FOF2K4 and TCY. 59
FOF2K4, but not TCY. 11
TCY only. (No previous versions of FOF.) 3
TCY and past version(s) of FOF. (Didn't buy FOF2K4.) 3
Past version(s) of FOF only, and not TCY. 4

If we assume that each of Jim's games is $30 (which isn't the case) then Jim has earned $4,170!

The wife is getting new diamond earrings for Christmas this year baby!

(This post was in jest. I know Jim has made substantially more money than this and I wish him all financial success in the future.)

There are a couple of flaws with the poll:

1) There's that bizarre subculture known as Hattrickers who never venture into the General Discussion and won't see the poll.

2) I don't see a question about Jim's Werewolf game. I don't own that, but apparently it's popular with the kids.

I'm not really concerned with the ones that don't venture into GD. We provide a nice place for them to hang out. They bump up our hit counts, thereby making us more valuable to Gamespy. It's a win-win, but I don't really consider them to be a part of our "community," if you will.

I also own every game he has ever released - we really needed an ALL Gindin option.

Yeah, I'd say by now most of the HTers have migrated over to general discussion. Either that, or they were FOFCers to begin with.

Plus that forum has really been slowing down these past months. Interest fading somewhat maybe?

I don't have the original FOF, or the EA abomination called FOF2k2. Everything else, I have.

I "own" TCY, but I haven't touched it since a few weeks after it was released. Didn't really appeal to me as much as I expected it would. Also bought FOF2, 2k1, 2k2, and 2k4.

I've owned all the games since 2K1 but FOF 2004 is the only one I still have installed, but I don't even play it anymore.

I think I bought TCY first, before I found this place, and then FOF 2k4 shortly after I found here. Been a long time since I touched either however.

I only have FOF2004. I will buy the next FOF on release day.

My first foray was TCY, and I then picked up FOF 4 later. I now play 2k4 mostly.
