Found this over at ESPN.com:

John O'Connor of the Richmond (Va.) Times-Dispatch reports Division I-AA William & Mary will unveil a new $11 million football support center, which has been aptly named the Laycock Football Center. Tribe coach Jimmy Laycock has coached his alma mater for more than two decades, building it into one of the top I-AA programs in the country.

Yup.

Major donation made this possible. Combined with adding Field Turf this season and lights last season (for over 90 years we never played night games) there has been a real investment of money in the football program. I'm pretty excited about the football center because one of the biggest criticisms of our program was the majorly antiquated locker rooms, weight facilities, etc.

Cool news story, but... Laycock is just an unfortunate name. :D

Hah. Funny thing is I don't even think of it that way because he's such a respected guy around here... took a crap program at a school that demands high academics from their athletes and turned them into a perennial playoff contender. In 25 years, I think he's had 20ish winning seasons.
