Thread will open once poll is created. The results of this poll will help determine the color scheme for the front page redesign.

I would think that this would also be helpful in making sure that as the board is upgraded that the more popular skins are attempted to be upgraded with it.

I am also excited to see what kind of person would possibly want to experience rage everytime they visit the board. But that wouldn't, I think, stop Hell Atlantic from voting for it.

Is vB Classic the same as FOFC vB 3 as shown in my CP?

I think so.

I use 'yellow' at home and 'a day at the office' at the office :)

I also switch to sideline green from time to times...

That would be vB Classic. I prefer to call it the blue and gray. ;)

I forgot you could change that and had been living with the yellow for years. Now I just looked through all of them and chose the blue version of the default.

The others are interesting, but there isn't enough contrast in most of them.

Actually, I'm using Rage by mistake. Was looking through them about a week ago, had my attention called from the computer and it was left as the default skin. Been too lazy to change it since then. :o

Wow. You're a better man than I. I nearly went crazy when it was stuck on rage for 15 minutes a few months ago.

Yellow. Every now and then switch to green for a change.

Mac OSX, but if it got pulled, I'd just use vbulletin3 style I suppose.

So it seems clear that Yellow is the most popular choice. And despite that I hope it is NOT chosen as a color scheme for the frontpage. While it's great for us FOF gronards I think it doesn't look like a web page from 2006.

We'll see how it pans out. VPI has told me that it will be easy to change the color scheme. He just needs a starting point. Keep in mind, dat boy make web sites so good...

YELLOW 4 LIFE.

Used to use Sideline Green, but certain things in dynasties would show up right. This was quite awhile ago, so maybe not anymore. I use Day At The Office now.

I can't believe so many people actually use the Urine skin.

I've been rotating between sideline green, yellow and vB3. Mainly based on which one could work on my old laptop with the fewest number of errors.

Other Vbulletin sites I visit have an automatically generated frontpage that's blog style. I wonder why we haven't been using it.

For example see steelernation.com. Frontpage is integrated with rest of the site and forum.

I didn't even know the others existed. I've been using the yellow because I thought my only alternative was sideline green.

Edit: After looking at the others, they just don't feel right for this place. FOFC has to be yellow for me. I did like the Habitue one, though. "Flush", however, is fugly.

Whenever I see a screenshot of that, it makes me puke. I know it has nostalgic value but it could be one of those cases of either loving it or hating it. Pick something that is neutral for the front page.

Im currently using YELLOW, so I voted for that. Normally, however, I use HABITUE, which is clearly the best.

I don't remember seeing Spud before but that looks pretty good, if you like light letters on dark background (my eyes prefer the other way around).

Yellow, I also like the green one but i'm too used to the yellow one to change.

I still think there should be a forum style for each of the IHOF champions, just as FOBL has done for FOBL and FOFL. :D
