A vote for Kate is a vote against Keira. Either way it's sadly a vote for a 13 yer old boy. What is with the anorexic women in this poll and the support they are receiving?

This is defnitely the weak half of the bracket... The Championship is being played on the other side in the Semi's.

I have to abstain based on one thing: Without listening to the sound (which probably contains Conan O'Brien's introduction), I have no idea which of these two women is in that video.

Obviously, I don't know who either one is, so I probably shouldn't be voting.

So this route COMPLETELY baffles me...

Neither one particularly fits "my taste"... but I just don't see enough of a distinction between the two for these kinds of numbers. I figured the vote owuld be relatively split because to me they are relatively similar (brunette, similar body time, similar facial type features) where if nothing I thought Keira was more well-known.

I really don't care who wins this one, but I really wish I understood the mentallity behind this just from curiosity.

For me, these Hot or Not polls have been running for a long time, the initial hot or not vote on Keira was in April, 5 months ago. Back then she was on my top 5 list. She's since fallen off it and actually for me, Kate Beckinsale is specifically who has taken her place, so yeah, this one is easy for me. I think the anorexic stereotype and the "bad press" about all that in recent months has hurt her here.

My guess (and my reasoning) is that Kate is thin without looking skinny. She actually looks healthy while being thin. Keira is almost freakishly skinny. She started out just having a slight frame to becoming anorexic looking. Kate has a more "smooth" beauty while Keira is a bit "severe". Also, Kate has been in plenty of movies where she is wearing leather and kicking ass. That always helps. :)

I think I underestimate the % of FOFCers that have seen Underworld also...

I'm pretty confidant, again, in the general public, most dont' know her from Underworld.. if they know her, it's from Pearl Harbor...

I didn't know either of them until these polls. And even though I checked last week, I don't remember now which movies they've each been in. I just know I haven't seen any of them. I'm going strictly on looks from 1 or 2 pics I've seen.

It surprises me that you haven't seen Keira Knightley. There was a period of time when she was in EVERY movie that came out...

Mendes would have made this vote MUCH closer than it is.

Beckinsale beats Knightley because frankly, though I find Kiera hot, she doesn't belong in the championship game of something like this.

People need to picture Keira Knightley from whenever the first Pirates came out Keira Knightley. Thats how i picture her so she's #1 to me.

I love Kiera. Loved her in Pirates. She's in my top ten absolutely, but again, Beckinsale is on another level.

Kiera is still #1 in my heart *sniff*

Keira is beautiful, but too skinny. Kate is beautiful, and while thin, she doesn't look unhealthy as Kiera recently has looked.

Tough to vote against Keira, but she's met her match.
