Hasn't visited the forum in more than a month and hasn't posted in almost two.

Wherefore art thou John Galt?

Wasn't he moving from Iowa back to NYC?

Wasn't he moving back to New York? Maybe he's caught up in the move and new job.

Or else one of his countless vows to leave the board finally sticked.

I hope not. I've actually been missing his contributions.

I was laughing this weekend, thinking about his limmerick off with QS a while back.

I just figured he was busy with his move from Iowa to New York as well.

On that note, where is our CHEMICAL SOLDIER?

I'm thinking he's around, but has figured out how to release the CAPS LOCK key.

He was more of a biological type warrior IMO.

The speculation was correct. My move from Iowa to New York has kept me busy. I also was caring for a family member for a while. I've been reading the board sometimes, but have just been too lazy to log in. Anyway, I'm still around, just in transition and busy.


Despite my reputation to the contrary (propogated by our resident curmudgeon), I think I have only ever threatened to leave the board once. And I actually did leave for a while, FWIW. I may have criticized many things that have been done at FOFC, but that is in attempt to make the board better, not to make some sort of dramatic exit. Once in 7 or 8 years doesn't seem too bad, IMO.
