The Wiiiiiiii.......

Yup....I flew back to work today, and hit our conference running, had my two training classes and then our vendor meetings....well, we had 4 wii's running here (No PS3's, Sony was showing the same footage from E3).

I have to say, this is a fun, gimmicky, yet impressive system. It is attacking the DDR crowd to the max.

I played Tennis and Golf, and watched someone play a sword fighting game. The exercise you get with the tennis game on the higher levels are amazing, you are moving back and forth, swinging the remote right, left, depending on the buttons you press, forehand, backhand, but you can put the spin on the ball just like you would while playing tennis.

As for golf, I don't know if you can adjust the settings, but it is quite sensitive there, I missed the ball off the tee because I moved my swing just a notch (I have a horrible slice in RL) but it was fun to truly play the game like you were really out there. The only thing missing on the golf side was the smell-o-vision for the outside...

I think this will catch the DDR kiddies at full speed and do quite well out of the gate. I didn't have a lot of time to speak with Nintendo about it, but they have different remote styles, that handle things differently from swords and bows to racing wheels...

Graphics are just that, Nintendo graphics to me, focused for the younger gen while the PS3 and 360 are for the older crowd. Other than that, fighting the lines to play, I wasn't able to get much more PT in.....

'kay, I'm 25 and close to 240 pounds. Yes, I need to lose weight.

I played Wii Music or Wii Conductor or Wii Are The World or whatever the hell they're calling it, and I felt like I was going to die afterwards.

Wii just might be the weight loss program I need.

I've never owned a console in my adult life, but I think the Wii is a really neat concept and am considering buying one.

Rumor has it that Wal-Mart won't have demo units of Wii on store floors, because they fear someone might hit a customer with the controller while playing tennis or boxing.

... even more reason why this system is AWESOME!!!
