Anyone know what time is 1800GMT if you are on the East coast US?

Depends if it is Standard time or Daylight time. Standard time is GMT-5. Daylight time is GMT-4. GMT doesn't have daylight/standard.

yes they do...they just do it at slightly different times than we do....the company i work for has an office that is located in GMT, and every night at 1 am eastern time, they call me to let me know they are in the office so i can go home (the helpdesk i work for is 24 hours for the whole world)...when they call me, it is 6am there, but there was a two week span when we were only 4 hours apart until they changed their clocks as well

the answer to the original question is 1pm eastern.
