Is there any way to stop the pop-ups that happen every time I change the channel to a different football game? At first I thought it was a really cool feature, then after 6 weeks of the ad's coming every single time I switch between channels I am really getting irritated!

(Note: This is only for newer models, the TIVO one I have downstairs doesn't do this.)

Another question: "My VOD" also seems to tape about 20 things I don't want including shortcuts for all of the past weekends NFL games. Is there a way to turn this off? (They don't appear on the secondary screen, but appear in the menu)

Can't help, but that pop-up annoys me as well. I don't know how to permanently take it off.

For #2, I'd go to your "To Do" list and look at your prioritizer to see if you accidentally hit record all of one series.
