Week 8 Fantasy Football: Who to Start?
Through the course of the season I've ended up with a glut of running backs and that's where most of my starter choices are going to be the remainder of the year. This being the case its likely going to come down to matchups more than anything else. Hasselbeck looks like he probably won't play for a couple of weeks, so it will be back to Grossman at QB. Gore and Jackson are my "normal" starters at RB, but with SF @Chi this week I may be benching Gore. Also, the Ravens are my normal defense, but the matchups this week mike push me towards Green Bay. What do you guys think?
Need 2 of the following running backs: S. Jackson @SD A. Green Ari F. Gore @Chi J. Addai @Den L. Jordan Pit (did not play last week due to injury) And also a defense: Green Bay Ari Baltimore @NO |
Boy...you've got some tough matchups this week...even Jackson at SD is iffy. I'd probably go with Jackson and Green and GB defense. But, then again, this past week I basically tossed a coin with Washington D or TB D...guess which one I started? Oh, and decided to sit Gabriel in favor of Lee Evans, too. Yeah, I lost this week.

I too need some advice.
1) I have Drew Brees and Baltimore Defense. My backup defense is Miami who has a bye week. My backup QB is Brad Johnson who plays NE this week. I am leaning towards starting both Brees and Baltimore D in hopes that one can do really well. Thoughts? 2) We can start 3 WRs in our league. I have 5 and am not sure what are my best mathc-ups. I recently picked up Chris Henry to go along with Hines Ward, Braylon Edwards, Nate Washington, and Donte' Stallworth. Hines Ward is an easy one. But the next 2 spots I am not sure what to do with. I was thinking of going with Stallworth and Henry but am a little worries about some rust and the defenses they face. Washinton is facing the Raiders, and Edwards is up against the Jets. Both seem to be good match-ups. Thanks for the help. |
I have another wonderful issue..
Deion Branch vs KC Braylon Edwards vs Jets Joseph Addai Vs Denver Can play one of the three |
