FOF2007-6A - Some minor issues with FGs
 

Not 100% sure if this is only happening after 6A install, but I noticed the following.

In my last game, here is my kicker's stats from box score:
Pittsburgh FGs 40+Yd 50+Yd LG PAT
Jeff Reed 2/3 0/1 0/1 38 0/0

As you can see, says I was 2 of 3 which my game logs back up. However, it says I was 0/1 from 40+ and 0/1 from 50+. This doesn't compute to me being 2 of 3. During the game, I made 2 30 yarders.

I then went into my season stats for my kicker and it said the following:

10 of 11 FG made. However, this is what was listed in the 40 and 50 category:
3 of 4 from 40+ and 3 of 4 from 50+. Once again, this doesn't compute. At minimum I should have had 2 misses, but my overall FG stats say I only missed one.

Hoping for future correction the next time around.

I think a miss from 51 yards out would cause you to be '0-1' in 40+ AND 50+. Otherwise it would be 40-49 and 50+ I would think.

It would make sense if the 50+ yd attempts are also listed under the 40+ yard attempts. So your kicker never had an attempt between 40 and 50 but only one that was <40 and <50. But unfortunately he missed.)

I think I understand what you are saying and that is probably what is happening. I guess in my mind I interpeted 40+ = 40-49 and 50+ =50-59. So if I understand, if my kicker attempted a 51 yarder, he would be 0/1 in 40 and 0/1 in 50. Although I see how it works, seems strange you wouldn't have broken this up into separate categories.

It at least makes me feel more comfortable not so much a bug, but more of a design decision.

One thing I noticed in the play-by-play is that it says the ball just made it over the crossbar a LOT, even on short FG's. One game I just played had Adam Viniteri do this on a 20 yd FG! :D

I also see that phrase a lot.
