NFL week 11 discussion

I'm feeling WAY too good about the Cowboys chances against the Colts. Please don't let me down, fellas...

MJ4H 11-19-2006 12:09 PM

Raiders at Chiefs today. I hear Trent is playing today. Hopefully a nice easy game to get back into things. Hopefully. The Chiefs have been an adventure all year.

MJ4H 11-19-2006 12:19 PM

Chiefs rush all the way down the field and score the first touchdown of the game. 7-0.

JonInMiddleGA 11-19-2006 12:27 PM

Random trivia -- today is the first time the Falcons have played in Baltimore since 1969.

My fantasy teams featuring LJ approve of this message. :)

JeeberD 11-19-2006 12:30 PM

Third and goal from the six inch line for the Eagles and the Titans pick off McNabb.

Sweet...

JonInMiddleGA 11-19-2006 12:36 PM

Vick to Jenkins, Falcons lead the Ravens 7-0 late in the 1st qtr.

SnowMan 11-19-2006 12:44 PM

Bears/Jets could be a good game. Though I'm already tired of Joe Buck fellating (I think I just made up a new word!) Urlacher on TV again.

JeeberD 11-19-2006 12:52 PM

McNabb just hurt his knee or ankle...medical staff is checking him out as we speak.

Eaglesfan27 11-19-2006 12:54 PM

Doesn't look good :(

JeeberD 11-19-2006 12:55 PM

As much as I dislike the Eagles, I hate to see McNabb get hurt...especially on a fluke like that.

DolphinFan1 11-19-2006 01:00 PM

Harrington is passing at will on the Vikings defense. Now if only they could punch it in the end zone without fumbling.

nope

mauchow 11-19-2006 01:01 PM

If I lose McNabb in my only money league, I'll be a little sad.. I was going to start Rivers this week, too... hindsight.

Be tough McNabb!!

DolphinFan1 11-19-2006 01:05 PM

Touchdown Dolphins!!!

Harrington is 16/21 for 187 yards. 1 TD

DolphinFan1 11-19-2006 01:09 PM

WOW!! Lee Evans for Buffalo has 205 receiving yards already.

I traded him away in my FF league early in the season.

JeeberD 11-19-2006 01:12 PM

ESPN.com scoreboard says that Miami has 4 points?

Edit: OK, now they've changed it to 10...

Damn...and he's wasting away on my bench today.

I never watch the games on ESPN.com. I use CBS sportsline.

BTW, Go Cowboys. I hope they end Indy's run tonight.

JeeberD 11-19-2006 01:14 PM

Geez, the Eagles have dropped more picks today...

Eaglesfan27 11-19-2006 01:15 PM

No kidding. Lito has to make that pick.

From the way he reacted, I think it is either a broken bone (I hope) or torn ligaments. Either way, I doubt we'll see much more McNabb this season. :(

I didn't play him when he had the 2 great weeks 3 or 4 weeks ago. I played him the last 2 weeks and he did nothing. I sat him now, figuring the Ravens would shut him down. I'm going to start tearing my hair out if he has another big day today now that I've sat him.

mauchow 11-19-2006 01:21 PM

Grossman having a good game so far..

5/11, 7 yards.

molson 11-19-2006 01:29 PM

Favre out with an injury also.

fantastic flying froggies 11-19-2006 01:36 PM

Is this the "Week of the longest TD pass" challenge?

I count at least 6 TD passes of over 40 yards already!

JeeberD 11-19-2006 02:07 PM

70 yard TD run for Travis Henry. 17-6, Titans.

Guess Travis was tired of the WRs getting all the big plays today. ;)

Icy 11-19-2006 02:09 PM

Has any team ever finished with a negative running yardage? I'm afraid MIA is going to do it.

Close to the end of the 3rd Q MIA rushing numbers are -6 yards in 11 carries.

mauchow 11-19-2006 02:12 PM

Why oh why did I start Ronnie Brown? I may have been better off starting off an injured McGahee...

mauchow 11-19-2006 02:15 PM

Yes! Vikings pick. Need a win to be the worst playoff team ever.

JeeberD 11-19-2006 02:18 PM

Pacman Jones 91 yard punt return for a TD...24-6 Titans over Eagles. :D

Eaglesfan27 11-19-2006 02:19 PM

That was a disgusting return. Terrible tackling. However, you have to give Pacman credit for some great moves.

mauchow 11-19-2006 02:19 PM

Oh, how lame.. can't get into the endzone from the 3 yard line for Minnesota..

I'm not watching the game, but if I were playing against the Dolphins I'd put 9 or 10 guys in the box and do nothing but stop the run and ignore the pass. Maybe the Vikingpartyboats are doing that now. It's the perfect strategy because at some point Harrington will fuck it up.

He did finally, INT from him returned to the MIA 3 yard line. Luckily the D held them to FG instead of TD.

mauchow 11-19-2006 02:38 PM

or the vikngs themselves will fuck themselves over.. like they just did. 50 yard fumble return for a touchdown, miami leads..

in other news, Cubs sign Soriano??

JonInMiddleGA 11-19-2006 02:44 PM

Lewis gets his 3rd TD of the day as the Ravens just about ice it over the Falcons. 24-10 with about 4 mins left.

Eaglesfan27 11-19-2006 02:44 PM

Bad snap by the Eagles. This game is becoming too painful to watch.

MJ4H 11-19-2006 02:48 PM

Chiefs having no easy time with Raiders, up 17-13 with 37 seconds to go in the game, Raiders at midfield driving.

Rizon 11-19-2006 02:49 PM

I never realized how BAD the Chiefs are. And BOY, they are.

MJ4H 11-19-2006 02:49 PM

hrrm make that the 8 yard line :(

MJ4H 11-19-2006 02:50 PM

Intercepted. Chiefs can kneel it out.

Well, no matter how bad they are, they aren't as bad as Brooks :D

MJ4H 11-19-2006 02:52 PM

I agree, they look pretty rough at times this season. Still 6-4, though.

Rizon 11-19-2006 02:53 PM

Dolphins up 2 scores now??? Woohoo.

mauchow 11-19-2006 02:53 PM

Brad Johnson needs to retire last year..

Radii 11-19-2006 02:56 PM

Carolina's offense is so inconsistant(or maybe just bad except for steve smith?) but their defense is so so good.

Barring a miracle, Carolina wins, Atlanta and the Saints lose. Looking good!

terpkristin 11-19-2006 02:56 PM

Dang, McNabb has had a few crappy years for injuries. ESPN.com is saying it's a knee...

/tk

larrymcg421 11-19-2006 02:59 PM

Jason Taylor for Defensive Player of the Year.

Rizon 11-19-2006 03:01 PM

Wow, how about them Steelers
