Anyone Going Shopping on Friday?
 

I went about 4 years ago just to see what it was all about. That was my first and LAST time Shopping on 'the biggest shopping day of the year'. I did learn a trick though. If you are able to get at the merchandise you are looking for, check out on the self checkout line and you may get your deal before the mad rush. I hit WalMart at 4 am and bought something that was part of the 6am sale blitz at the sale price. I do not even recall what it was any more.

I try to do all of my Christmas shopping online. I too tried the day after Thanksgiving, but the aggravation wasn't worth it. I've also gone on Christmas Eve, and that is no picnic either.

Best Buy is selling an Pioneer Inno portable XM Radio for $180 (retail $399) and is throwing in for free a car kit, a home kit, and the antenna headphones. You bet your sweet ass I'm going shopping on Friday.

Do you think I'd be able to go get the Inno and accessories tonight, then go back on Friday or Saturday and get refunded for the sale items?

Not a chance. Wife wants to go shopping and is happy to go with her sister. I'll be relaxing all day :)

Yes... some of the deals are too good to pass up. And who cares about Christmas shopping? I'm getting myself stuff :D.

I went last year for the first time ever with my wife (when we were dating). It was her mom, her and I and we made out pretty well. Of course we mainly hit Target. We get even better deals because he mom used to work there and gets 10% discount plus she uses the discount she gets from her target card so we end up getting like 15-20% off the sale prices.

I won't be hitting any stores, but I'll be doing some shopping online. I've done the day-after-Thankgiving shopping in stores before and I just don't have the patience to deal with those people anymore, I'd probably end up in jail if I tried to go into a store on Friday. As it was, I almost ran someone over at Publix a couple hours ago.

I plan on lining up at Best Buy around 4am to attempt to get one of their 22" monitors that are on sale. I'm kinda looking forward to it. Famous last words...

there's a midnight madness sale at the nearby outlet stores on friday. I may go to that.

I'm going to Best Buy at midnight to wait it out for five hours. Instead of getting the $400 laptop at Staples in Las Cruces, I'll be getting a $250 Toshiba at Best Buy (among other stuff).

No chance that I'll go shopping this Friday (I never do anyways) nor any day between now and Christmas. I get everything for my wife and the boys online and for myself, there's always eBay <----- hint, in case anyone wants to give me a gift certificate for Christmas. :)

may go to best buy if i can convince the parents to buy me a laptop for law school, but the best buy is in a sketchy part of town, so i'm not sure about camping out. i saw that walmart is having a 52" hdtv on sale for 474 online, so I may do that. And i'm definitely giving the 360 for $100 a shot tomorrow.
