Howard Bryant, of the Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins head coach Joe Gibbs has not ruled out the possibility of conducting a tryout Tuesday, Nov. 28, to find a replacement for PK Nick Novak. Novak is 5-for-10 in field goal attempts and has struggled with short kickoffs. Gibbs said, "It's a matter of us evaluating things. We work hard with Nick, and he's a hard worker. But for all of us, Nick will tell you, he needs to be consistent. He has won a game for us and that stuck in my mind. It's a matter of someone who will be productive."

Yup, I'm pretty ticked. Though with it only being "Damage to the ACL" and not "Torn ACL", I'm hopeful that it's not a CEI.

I was disappointed to see him get cut. I was hoping the Cowboys would make the playoffs and Vanderjagt would miss a game winning 36 yard FG.

I was hoping that Gramatica would mess up. That would open the door for the Cowboys to sign a Zendejas.

Did you notice the look of complete surprise by Parcells when Gramitica made that kick?

Probably the same look that was on my face...
