Playing Time in 2k7

I'm having a little bit of difficulty understanding how the new % playing time translates to the old values still used for the QB position now. What percentage would be roughly equivalent to the league ave? 60%? 75? What are you using for the majority of your starters with an able, but not great backup?

Also, are you looking at endurance when setting PT, or are you letting the game handle taking out your tired players since the screen indicates that PT is automatically affected by endurance?

I've been very happy sticking with the recommended values for playing time, it really is doing a lot better job of including all the factors, you'll see the starter's PT go up if his backup is hurt, go down if he's hurt, pre-season playing time is appropriately low and you'll often see the backups start, especially at QB. I like it a lot.

So you have the AI set both depth charts and PT then? Or do you just go to the screens and recommend before each game?

No I control the depth charts, I just go in and recommend as needed for playing time. I think control of PT is part of controlling the depth charts, if the AI does it.

I have the AI set my gameplan but I control depth charts and PT. I want to be able to list who plays...especially related to rookie players. If I have a shot at the playoffs or making it further, I may not wish for rookies to play. Of course, the opposite is true for down years.
