Did my Rookies just travel in time?
Yeah that's right. All my rookies have an extra years exp. at the beginning of their 2nd year!
NFL Experience: 2 years Should'nt that say 1 I believe a fix is in order here! |
No. FOF always shows you the current year of the experience. In other words, they are in their 2nd year. You will notice that rosters don't show guys with 1 years experience -- that's when the R is used, as in they are in their rookie season (or in prior versions when a 1 was used to show they were in their 1st season).
You were joking right when you asked this? |
And this is how the NFL works too.

The only difference between how FOF handles experience and the NFL is that there are instances in the NFL when a player will be listed as having a 1 year experience -- I don't know the complete criteria, but essentially a player listed with 1 year experience is a second year player who did not play their rookie season -- i.e. someone who attended a training camp or may have been a practice roster but never got any playing time.
If you look through NFL rosterss, you'll see quite a few players with a 1. Obviously the distinction is to separate players who are not true rookies from players with no NFL experience but are not first-year players. |
