OT - March 6 Party in ATL at ESPNZone
 

Know some of you joined us last year at Innovox, and wanted to extend an invitation to FOFers to come out have some fun with me, Steve Kuffrey, Arlie Rahn and maybe Scott Vibert on March 6 at ESPNZone in Buckhead. JonInMiddleGA, I know you aren't too far away, maybe we can smoke the peace pipe. :)

Anyhoo...Here are the details as posted on the .400 Board:

The party will be held on Thursday, March 6 at ESPNZone in Atlanta, from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. If I can get at least 25 or more confirmed RSVPS, .400 Software Studios will rent a private room at the 'Zone.



Me (Joe Stallings), Steve Kuffrey, Arlie Rahn and one or two other "surprise" guests will be there, and we really hope you can come. We will have a big-screen multimedia presentation of Out of the Park Baseball 5, and will also have free copies of all the .400 games and other prizes to give away, including a drawing for 2 tickets to the nationally televised (ABC) Georgia Tech vs. Clemson basketball game on the following Saturday at Tech's Alexander Memorial Coliseum (plus you get to sit next to those wacky TDCB developers...)

I'm extremely touched that you've decided to honor my 32nd birthday with a big party, but Atlanta is a long drive from Keene NH...

Seriously though, there are several people on this board that live in Georgia that could attend.

and those with nothing better to do then drive 16 hours :D

I think I'm in Atlanta that night.

If so, I'll be there, but don't count me as one of the 25 yet. Sounds like it would be fun though.

That's actually an easy drive, straight down 75. I've done it a number of times. Just hold your breath near the Tennessee/Georgia line. Paper mills.

Somehow I doubt that. It would be cool though.

I'm not sure what my schedule is going to look like so this isn't a formal RSVP but a most likely. I'll be able to say for sure by the weekend.

So is this one of those deals where you should RSVP only if you know for absolutely certain that you're going to make it or where you RSVP your sincere intentions to try really hard to be there but can't honestly say for sure because of potential schedule conflicts?

I'll be in Atlanta from the 5th through the 8th for the Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Basketball Tourney at Georgia State University.

Hopefully that Saturday afternoon, UCF will be punching the first ticket to the Big Dance.

I may try to make it over to the ESPN Zone, but the Quarterfinals are being played that same day with the last game beginning I believe around 8:15pm.

By the way, anyone else planning on attending at least a portion of the ASun Tournament?

Unfortunately, try as I might (and I really did try), I can't shake loose to make it.

Wife is traveling, somebody's gotta take care of the kid, etc, etc.

Once again, reality intrudes on just about all of the possible fun I can find.
