Renegotiations
I've read comments from several different people in IHOF, and I'm curious what the overall take is. Guys who had mediocre/bad seasons last year have mentioned that most of their players wanted more money. My experience, after a successful season last year, was that nearly all of mine were asking for a little less. I'm wondering if the previous season's performance is more of a factor in this version than in the past. Thoughts?

I've noticed that when a player has a bad year, and thier ratings drop significantly going into the next year that they will ask for less money.
Also, rookies going into year 2 and 3 that didn't play usually ask for less too. |
I assumed they did this because they were worried about being cut from the team.

I've noticed what could be called the "Show me the money" theory.
When guys are hitting year 8 or so they try to nail down a big contract because their time is running out. I will pay more attention to this as the sp seasons continue to go by and report in when something comes up. |
I'd love it if in MP these was player feedback on contracts like in SP, expecially for the guys who aren't asking for extensions...
