Strange!!!!!!

I dont know what has happened, but I suddenly cant select a certain option when starting a new game.

On the 'New Game Option's screen, the 'Begin game using random new player file' options (Yes & No), are both highlighted in red - meaning I cant use them & am stuck with the real life players.

Can anyone give me help on how I might fix this? I'm using version 6.0d & have already completely uninstalled & re-installed the game.....

You can't use a random player file without either a preference or complete draft.
