Not a parody thread. Just another white guy saying potentially racist thing. Biden has nothing on Saban though. let's just say Saban may have referred to a black guy as short-worded version of a raccoon.

For the record, "coonass" does not refer to black people -- it's a fairly popular term for Cajuns. Some consider it derogatory, many others seem to wear it with pride, but I would guess that as LSU coach, Saban could have said it without too much fanfare. However, I cannot imagine this is going over well at all with LSU fans -- in this context it comes off as pretty insulting.

That Bama road trip to LSU in 2008... let's just say they're going to need a lot of security and I'm glad I won't be there...
