Problem with 2007?
 

I know of at least three players in the OSFL who have had to uninstall and reinstall 2007. The problem with all three of us has been a failure for 2007 to open. No changes were made to the computer, no new programs uploaded, nothing different.

For my own experience, I've had to do it twice in two days. It's getting to the point where I'm afraid to close out the program. Today I've uninstalled and reinstalled for two straight hours and can't get it running.

Is there anyone else out there in FOF2007 experiencing this or is this isolated to the OSFL?

Never has happened to me.

I had this happen when I upgraded to the patch before this latest one. I was starting the program from the desktop shortcut.

How I fixed it was delete the shortcut, reinstall, then manually create a shortcut to the new version.

No idea why that happened or if what i did fixed it or it was just coincidence, but I haven't had a problem since.

I'm having this same problem. I just purchased tonight and can't get it running from the desktop shortcut or from the exe file in the solecismic folder. I just click and nothing happens.

An uninstall, reboot, reinstall worked for me.

I've had to do this twice now, and I'll be damned if I can figure out why. No new software has been installed since I got 2k7, and no other system changes have been made. FOF2k7 just seems to up and quit on me every so often.

The weird thing is that when I click on the icon, nothing will happen, but when I shut down the machine the application quickly pops up before the system shuts down. Weird.
