Promoted Coordinators
 

Has anyone else noticed whether or not coordinators are getting promoted to head coaches? This is very common in real life and I know with 2K4 it rarely happened.

I have noticed on occasion a former head coach being demoted to a coordinator role, but not the opposite.

Not really, but I haven't paid that close attention. I did have a Head coach who was ok, but had a better attributes to be a D coordinator so I hired a random head coach in stage 1. In stage 2 I hired my former Head coach as a D coordinator for about 300k less per season.

The D coordinator I had before was better suited to be a head coach (excellent Defensive play calling, VG offensive, & good at everything else) so I hired him in the last stage to be the head coach and I only gave hime a rasie of 50k. With minimal roster changes my team won 5 more games the next season (9-7 VS 14-2) with the same staff at different positions.
