Hibachi

Watching the NBA All-star weekend. They should just do 3 hours of Gilbert Arenas doing random shit. It be far more fun than the ass raping that is watching Bill Lambeir shoot a basketball.

Although Dick Bavetta v. Chuck Barkley was amusing.

They ruined the dunk contest when they changed the rules.

Easy Mac 02-17-2007 09:51 PM

Damn, Dwight Howard went up

Easy Mac 02-17-2007 09:56 PM

I rescind my previous dunk comments statement regarding it was ruined. The guys have made it fun.

Easy Mac 02-17-2007 10:04 PM

I rescind my previous comment. I hate Nate Robinson

Pyser 02-17-2007 10:30 PM

Pyser 02-17-2007 10:30 PM

BishopMVP 02-18-2007 08:56 AM

BishopMVP 02-18-2007 08:57 AM

Should have been "Celtics won something."

If it was a possessive noun, it would be, for example, "I'm proud of the Celtics' NBA titles."

Pumpy Tudors 02-18-2007 02:34 PM

When Arenas did the last 3 or 4 shots one-handed, he should've yelled "HIBACHI!" after each one. Damn, I love Agent Zero.

MJ4H 02-18-2007 03:05 PM

Are you going to rescind that statement now or I am going to have to start trying to figure this out from the beginning again?

nilodor 02-18-2007 03:12 PM

Instead of 2 minutes per dunk attempt, I'd like to see them goto 2 attempts, period. I know the 2 minutes was to allow extra creativity but 10 attempts is still ridiculous.

MikeVic 02-18-2007 04:39 PM

That Dwight Howard dunk was so awesome. I mean, Nate gets these extra points for his height... shouldn't Dwight get some for his unique talents? It was just one of those dunks where you're not sure what just happened, then when you find out... it becomes more awesome the moe you think about it.

And the fact that it had his smiling face on it adds on top of that.

BishopMVP 02-18-2007 04:47 PM

tall guys always get shafted in dunk competitions

rpi-fan, thanks; i probably would've figured that out if i was awake haha

The funniest prop ever was like 2-3 years ago when (I think) Josh Smith put a piece of tape halfway between the FT and 3-pt lines.... then proceeded to do a fullcourt sprint and take off from a step inside the free throw line.... was still a great dunk, but the piece of tape threw everyone off so much he got like 7's and was summarily dismissed.

I'm pretty sure he wrote on the sticker "All Things Through Christ", and then a Bible notation (like Eph. 5:3, or wherever that particular quote comes from in the Bible... I'm not religious so I don't know).
