I hadn't seen these until recently, but it looks like a pretty good puzzle. I'm not a huge fan fo word puzzles, myself, but this looks like it might lend itself to some brute force.

Each word in your list must be an uncapitalized English word that can be found in a typical abridged collegiate dictionary. There’s one catch, though: Your completed list must be in alphabetical order—that is, word 1 must come before word 2 in the dictionary, word 2 before word 3, etc. The decision of the judges regarding the acceptability of a word will be final.

02 "abilities" works but we would need a different word for 01 than "antibiotic"

I would put illicit as 013 and insipid as 015, which would allow implicit as 014.
