What happened to all of the white dog poop?
 

What happened to all of the white dog poop? When I was a kid, there was white dog poop all over the place. Nowdays, dog poop doesn't turn white anymore. What's up with that? Is it changes in dog food? The environment?

That's actually a really good question. I hadn't thought about white dog poop in a long time, but you're right, you just don't see it anymore.

Could it be that in lots of communities, people are now required to clean up after their dogs when they take them for walks? When I was a kid, dogs just pooped wherever they wanted, so you saw much more of it around. Hell, I can't even tell you where *my* dogs poop now, because I've been so efficient in getting them to go somewhere outside the vicinity of the house.

Sorry, I've been quite busy. As I get older I just can't get around to every state to paint every piece of poop white anymore. Just chalk this one up to me being lazy.

This is CNN territory. I too remember running around my grandmas yard and coming across white dog poo.. But then sometimes it also had hairlike stuff on it.. Does anyone with white poop recollection remember the added "hairyness"?

I just cleaned up some white dog poop last week. Actually, it was half white - half brown.

We had a dog who ate a box of crayons.. you guessed it, his poop was all different colors. We should have entered that into a dog museum or something.

Anyway, my thought is that white dog poop was really just really really old dog poop, and now that so many places have pooper scooper laws, it just doesn't sit around and turn white anymore.

My brother got sticks of colored clay as a Christmas present one year, and the dog ate it and pooped it out. I felt bad for my brother, the clay seemed like a fun gift.

I blame Bill Clinton and his liberal pals. They've been conspiring for years to rid this nation of white poo. All they care about is brown poo and it's time that white poo be recognized as the poo this country was made for! Zig heil!
