4 of 5

You would think the law of averages would have given us one of those games atleast. How do you lose 4 bowls in 5 years to 4 different teams?

The year we did not make it to the FO Bowl was actually our best team, 15-1, and we lost in our 1st playoff game.

Obviously, you have Marty Schottenheimer as coach.

Nice :D

Actually my first coach was one of the best I've seen rated excellent in nearly every HC rating. However his contract expired after the 1963 season and I opted to go with a bum to save some money. Same result. We lost two more FO Bowls.

You're doing one better than the real life Buffalo Bills.

Just made it back to the Front Office Bowl in the 1966 season. This time we are up against the Green Bay Packers and are a 3 point underdog. Screen shots after I watch the game in solevision. Surely we can't lose 5 in 6 years can we?

Finally. Wow, I've never had a team lose that many Front Office Bowls before. Extra sweet victory for us finally, and it came down to the end, they scored a TD with less than a minute left and recovered the onside kick only to have Milt Plum toss his 3rd INT of the game.

Game MVP was Fran Tarkenton. During the course of our 5 Front Office Bowls he is our second QB, the first was Billy Wood who was rated from 43/43 to 36/36 from 1960-1963. Fran is rated 65/68, he was drafted by Arizona with the 7th pick in 1961, but Arizona opted to instead go with Curley Johnson who is currently rated 68/68. By the 1964 offseason Fran was furious with his lack of playing time and was demanding a trade. I scored a top notch QB in Fran and all it cost me was a 3rd round draft choice, I was shocked when they accepted it, but atleast they got something out of a guy that was getting no PT.
