Borat

Been watching a ton of basketball, so I'm missing out on other news.

Can anyone tell me if the Borat DVD is going to be coming out soon? I can't seem to find anything on CBS about it.

Lathum 03-16-2007 02:07 PM

It's out already

Drake 03-16-2007 02:08 PM

Perhaps my sarcasm was too understated.

heybrad 03-16-2007 02:10 PM

The deleted massage scene is rather gnarly.

Drake 03-16-2007 02:13 PM

On a related note, I've also heard the rumor that This is Our Country. Can anyone else verify that this might be true?

INDalltheway 03-16-2007 02:18 PM

hahahahahaha this thread rox not

Drake 03-16-2007 02:25 PM

Don't you have a local basketball team to watch lose? ;)

Well, if you are talking about Notre Dame, yeah they are going to lose. Purdue on the other hand is going to dominate tonight. :D

You realize that Purdue only exists to prove that we have more than corn in Indiana -- we have cows, too.

Is it me, or is the humor in Borat aimed more at those in their early to mid 20's?

dj_morton 03-16-2007 06:51 PM

Borat was funny as hell the 1st time I watched it..the 2nd time I thought it was dumb as hell...kinda odd

Not really. More for naked wrestlers.

I want to thank God I did not see this movie in a theater.

This is the worst movie I have ever seen. I can't even stay seated in the same room as this show. And, I generally enjoy documentaries, or mocumentaries as is this case.

Nah, not really. Those kinds of jokes are really funny the first time you see them, more out of shock than anything I suppose.

Second time around the shock or suprise value is gone.

I enjoyed it and laughed a lot, it was a nice rental. Not a movie I'd pay to go see or buy to keep, but a decent netflix rental.

Cheers.

This movie is the world's greatest litmus test.

I must be assidic. Ha!

Neon_Chaos 04-12-2007 01:38 PM

I found "Ali G Indahouse", Sacha Baron Cohen's 1st movie, pretty funny. I like Sacha Baron Cohen's brand of humor, all in all.

"RESTECPA!?" hahaha.

Yeah, some dude at work said he couldn't stand it, and now my opinion of him has changed dramatically from cool to douche.
