Flasch - pretty much a second (or third) tier side show. One of the reasons that "garbage wrestling" got its name. Closest US equivalent might be CZW, only with a higher profile due to longevity & an angle they ran with NJPW back in the late 90s.

I think this match description from Wiki kind of sums them up:

Mix up all of those options & you've got most of their matches.

Mix up all of those options & what you've got is GREAT ENTERTAINMENT.

Although if you put them all in one match (as they apparently did), you've got a slight chance of being accused of overbooking ;)

Tomoaki Honma and Ryuji Yamakawa had a couple great matches in BJPW in 99-2000 if I remember correctly that somehow blended the weapons based style that you see in these clips with the main style of Japanese Wrestling (puroresu, which is a lot more.. well I was going to say realistic, but not sure if that's word I should be using, definitedly harder hitting).. and the two matches were awesome

During the match type stuff? None. I'm sure that this kinda shit will shorten people's lives, but..

But it looks cool, so a shortened life is worth it...for the spectators, anyway. I'm more than happy if people want to die for my amusement.

So ROH may be void of top TNA talent but PWG is presenting All Star Weekend in April headlined on night two by Low Ki vs Samoa Joe. They've wrestled once on the first ROH Show and now it's probably a top candidate for MOTY this time around.

And as much as I hate Garbage Wrestling, watch any Cage of Death by CZW.
