Computer problem
 

Ok, so I break down and buy MTW. I install the game and everything goes fine. I start the game after installation and the screen flickers a few times and boots me back to desktop.

Same thing now happens with CM

Hmm..

First, make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card.

Two, make sure you have the latest patch for M:TW.

Third, check you display options. I know CM won't let you play in window mode if you have it set to 32-bit colors instead of 16-bit. But I always get a message for it. It doesn't do that.

Make sure your Winders is up to date...

Other than that...I don't know. It does sound like a video card problem, though.

Is there anyway I can tell what my video card is?

Yes. Device Manager. Click on the plus sign next to display adapters. If you do update the video driver, make sure you uninstall the old one first.

Turns out I have a NVIDA RIVA TNT2 Model64.
