jones syndrome
this one takes the cake:
Heath Chanthavong, RDE - Tobacco Withdrawal Syndrome, Out, return to full strength unknown. |
Haha, I've had that one, too! My guy was only out about 3-4 weeks, fortunately. Still an amusing malady.

When Jim sold out to EA Sports he once had the option of drug suspensions in the game. EA, with their cozy relationship to NFL licensing didn't like that one bit. So they asked Jim to drop drug suspensions. In his unique way of protest, Jim came up with tobacco withdrawal as a substitute for drug suspensions. EA said OK and to this day we have it rather than drug suspensions. So if a guy has tobacco withdrawal, know that it's really Jim's clever way of busting him for pot or hgh or steroids. |
Sigh. I ought to submit this one to Snopes. Sounds wonderful, but it has absolutely nothing to do with reality.

Sure sounds good, though. I thought I learned something new.:)

Your claim is even funnier after realizing that you posted in the same thread that Jim posted to decry this theory. |
I've had my star CB out for 2 years with tobacco withdrawal. I'm glad he's trying to improve his health, but it seems like he should be able to get rid of the shakes after a couple of years. I wish it had been weed, then at least I could feel the brother.
